Bulleit Bourbon™ is a product of an era that helped define the character of a nation - an era of adventure, risk-taking and prosperity, when the Western frontier offered hope to those willing to take a chance. The legend begins in New Orleans, where the Bulleit family emigrated from France in the 1700s. Around 1830, Augustus Bulleit moved from New Orleans to Louisville, Ky., taking with him his talent for brandy making. As a tavern keeper in Louisville, he began producing small batches of bourbon. Relentless in his pursuit of perfection, he experimented with different recipes. When he found one that consistently met his expectations, the inspiration for Bulleit Bourbon was born. During the great migration to the West, his bourbon was sold throughout Kentucky and Indiana, gaining a reputation as the bourbon of choice for America's most hale and hardy adventurers - the frontiersmen. It was 1860. America was rapidly expanding westward and business was good for Augustus. That year, while transporting barrels of whiskey from Kentucky back to his hometown of New Orleans, Augustus Bulleit died. With him, it appeared, died the making of his legendary bourbon. As decades passed, the Bulleit family never lost its passion for telling the story of Augustus Bulleit, nor the desire to resurrect his signature creation. After more than a century, the family returned at last to bourbon making. In 1987, Tom Bulleit fulfilled a lifelong dream by reviving his family's ancestral distilling enterprise using the original recipe of his great-great-grandfather. Visit the Bulleit Burbon website |

| In 1989 two visionaries, Paul Mitchell Systems co-founder, John Paul DeJoria and entrepreneur Martin Crowley formed The Patrón Spirits Company with the singular goal of producing “the best tequila in the world”.
They took the100% pure Waeber blue agave, grown in the hills of Jalisco Mexico, and blended traditional techniques with modern technology. They created the world’s first ultra-premium tequila. | The company known today as Altadis U.S.A. had its beginnings in 1918 when Julius Lichtenstein, President of American Sumatra Tobacco Co., leaf specialists, brought together six independent cigar manufacturers. The six had been competing for sales in local markets with regional brands. Achieving full cooperation among the six was a slow process, and it wasn't until 1921 that the Consolidated Cigar Corporation, predecessor to Altadis U.S.A., was officially formed. | In 1916 Don Santiago Toraño emigrated from Spain to Cuba. Santiago became involved in tobacco as a broker of leaf tobacco. Over the years he was blessed with having three sons, Jaime, Jose and my father Carlos. All of them became involved in the tobacco business. Over the years, the Toraño family became one of the biggest and most well known growers of Cuban tobacco leaf. By the time of the revolution in 1959, the Toraño family owned and operated approximately 17 farms throughout Cuba.
After the Cuban government nationalized the tobacco farms, my father, Carlos Toraño, took his passion for tobacco to the Dominican Republic. Still today, growers in the Dominican Republic credit my father with introducing the Cuban seed to the Dominican Republic and teaching the farmers there how to grow what is today known as Piloto Cubano. After my father’s early and untimely death, I continued the family business, but expanded it to growing in Nicaragua, Mexico and Ecuador. |

A Clint is simply a very tasty, very mild, pleasantly aromatic cigar that has an unusual flavor. Our priorities are freshness along with quality. ENJOY! But more than just being tasty, it's a blend of tobaccos that represent the finest that the Dominican Republic can produce, all hand rolled into a reliable torpedo shape and finally clad in a very tasty Sumatran wrapper. In short, it's an unusual cigar. Please try one at any of our dealers. If you can honestly tell us that you don't like it, you don't have to buy it. That's how much confidence we have that you'll love Clints. Since our beginning in 1993, only one person has told me they didn't like Clints and when it was taken out of their mouth...they gave me the money rather than give up their cigar.
